Since our establishment in 1948 we have been involved in the production of superior punching and bending tools and we even run our own punching shop.

Although we have remained a small firm with approx. 20 employees, today we supply various internationally active enterprises, which can benefit from our flexibility and our extensive know-how.

Thanks to the manageable size of our company we can benefit from quick decision-making processes. This lean hierarchy makes it possible for us to offer you our services at good rates.

Quality assurance

Quality and keeping to deadlines are of the highest priority for us.

All employees are regularly trained in matters of quality and control. All sampling inspections during production are documented and the traceability is guaranteed.

Naturally we can also consider your special requests regarding produc-testing.

Company history

1948		Establishment of the company under the name of «A. Halter Werkzeugbau» in Feldbach ZH
1951		Purchase of the new workshop and residential building at Oetwilerstrasse 53 in Hombrechtikon
1980		Due to the need for more space we relocated to new premises at Oetwilerstrasse 57
1982		Change of the legal form into a corporation under the new name: «Halter AG, Werkzeugbau»
1995		Take-over of the stock majority and management by Erich Halter
2010		The business is run by 2nd /3rd generation and managed by Erich and Stefan Halter
2012		Take-over of stock majority and management by Stefan Halter
