Toolmaking
Stamping Tools & Progressive Dies
As a Swiss toolmaker, we develop and manufacture stamping and forming tools for industrial series production. Our focus is on progressive dies, compound and combination dies, as well as bending and embossing tools for small and medium-sized precision components.
From tool design and manufacturing through to sampling and series production, we provide the entire process from a single source.
Progressive Dies and Progressive Stamping Tools
We develop and manufacture progressive dies and progressive stamping tools tailored to the component and the planned series production. Cutting, bending, embossing and other forming operations can be combined within a single tool.
From design and strip layout through to the finished tool, the entire toolmaking process is carried out in-house.
Technical specifications
Tool length: up to approx. 900 mm
Main focus: small and medium-sized tools up to approx. 500 mm
Sheet thickness: typically 0.2–3 mm
Sampling: on our own presses
Series production: in-house
Compound dies
Toolmaking from design to series production
For us, toolmaking does not end with the delivery of the tool. Tool design, tool manufacturing, sampling and series production are closely integrated. This allows us to design tools from the outset for reliable and economical series production.
New tools are set up and sampled on our own presses. On request, we prepare initial sample inspection reports (EMPB) and support PPAP requirements.
We are also happy to take over the subsequent series production after sampling. Tool storage and ongoing maintenance can therefore remain with us as well – allowing the customer to receive finished series parts for years without having to manage tooling issues themselves.
Processed materials
We process a wide range of metallic materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass, as well as precious metals. For selected applications, we also process plastics.
One of our particular strengths is working with copper and brass, especially for applications in electrical engineering. Our many years of experience with different copper and brass alloys is already taken into account during tool design and the development of the stamping process.

Bending, embossing and special-purpose tools
In addition to progressive dies and compound dies, we also develop and manufacture stand-alone bending, embossing and special-purpose tools.
We also create customer-specific solutions beyond conventional tooling concepts. In the past, for example, we have developed stand-alone tools and manufacturing solutions with pneumatic or hydraulic drives. The decisive factor is the task itself – for special manufacturing requirements, we work with the customer to develop a suitable mechanical solution.
Fixture design and manufacturing
Are you planning a new stamped part or tooling project?
Send us your drawing or 3D data together with information on the material and planned production quantity. We will review the requirements and discuss a suitable tooling and manufacturing concept with you.
We are also happy to handle the subsequent series production in our own stamping department in addition to the toolmaking.
