Company
Halter AG Werkzeugbau is an owner-managed Swiss SME based in Hombrechtikon. As an independent company, we focus on clear responsibilities, long-term cooperation and the continuous development of our processes.
Quality, environmental awareness, and ethical and reliable conduct are integral parts of our corporate culture. Our management system provides the framework for this and is continuously developed further.
Quality
For us, quality does not begin with final inspection. What matters is the quality of the entire manufacturing process – from clear information and controlled processes to qualified employees and reliable, well-maintained equipment.
Our quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001 and forms part of our integrated management system. Processes and responsibilities are clearly defined, monitored and continuously improved. Errors and deviations are analysed systematically so that not only their consequences are corrected, but their causes are understood and eliminated sustainably.
We see quality as a shared responsibility throughout the company. Expertise, suitable equipment, clear information and continuous improvement form the basis for stable processes and reliable manufacturing.
Sustainability
For us, sustainability means using resources responsibly and reducing environmental impacts wherever this is technically and economically feasible. Our environmental management system is certified according to ISO 14001 and forms part of our integrated management system. Environmental aspects are considered in our operations, procurement and investments, and are continuously developed through specific objectives and key figures.
This includes the efficient use of energy, water and raw materials, the avoidance and proper separation of waste, and the responsible handling of operating materials and hazardous substances. Emissions from our manufacturing processes are also reduced through appropriate technical measures. We systematically record and evaluate relevant environmental and CO₂ data in order to identify trends and recognise opportunities for improvement.
For us, responsibility does not end at our own factory gates. When selecting and evaluating suppliers, we consider not only quality, price and delivery capability, but also environmental performance, occupational safety, human rights and integrity. The EcoVadis Gold rating confirms that we are on the right path and at the same time motivates us to continuously improve our performance.
Conduct & Ethics
Responsible conduct is an essential part of a reliable business relationship. We comply with applicable laws and contractual obligations and expect fair, ethical and respectful behaviour – both within our company and in our cooperation with business partners and suppliers.
